法的には異常者
外はみぞれまじりの雨で霧がかかっています。タイヤを通して、路面が凍っていることがわかります。
奥さんは怖がって、言います。
「スピードを落としてよ、これじゃあ気違い沙汰じゃないの」
「落とせって何をだよ。制限スピードは60マイル。こっちは50マイルで走ってんだぜ」
奥さんのほうが正常です。あなたが異常。スピードを落としなさい。
過去50年間、毎年こういった悪状況でのスピード運転が、致命傷となった交通事故の筆頭にあげられています。
去年1年間で、スピードの出しすぎによる事故は、死亡事故のうちの3分の1を占めました。
また、悪状況でのスピードの出しすぎは、すべての交通事故の原因の筆頭にあげられ、その結果は、車をぺちゃんこにしたり、背骨を折ったりと、いろいろです。
きっとあなたはこういう事実を今の今までご存じなかったでしょう。でも、もう違います。
