chuukyuu Which words told by Mr.Bernbach to you were most impressive?
Mrs. Robinson "Cut your copy!" I was still very new at it when I started working originally at Grey with Mr. Bernbach, He was very helpful to me in the eary years because some times he would just look at a picese and cut and say "Oh, this is very good, but why don't you start here and cut out the first two paragraphs." I think I suffered from something a lot of young writers suffer from, overwriting, being so in lovewith my own words and my own style. I think that as probably the thing that he helped me with most.
